CM214 is a 1 Input and 2 Outputs DisplayPort 1.4 splitter for expanding your display setup from a single DP input. It features two operating modes, MST (Multi-Stream Transport) extended mode and splitter mirrored mode. In MST mode, you can connect two extended displays from a single DisplayPort, perfect for multi-tasking and increasing productivity. The splitter mode mirrors the DP input to two identical outputs, ideal for presentations or dual viewing.

Compliant with DisplayPort 1.4, the splitter supports a bandwidth of up to 32Gbps, making it ideal for high-performance tasks. It features a built-in 3.5mm audio jack for seamless speaker or headphone connectivity.

System Requirement

• A laptop or desktop PC with DisplayPort output.
• Full function USB-C port with DP alternate mode on PC, a USB-C to DP cable is required to connect the splitter (not included).
• To support MST with 2 extended screens, a native DisplayPort from a discrete graphics card or integrated graphics from an Intel 6th Gen Skylake processor or later is required.
• For 120Hz and higher refresh rates, a DP 1.4-enabled DisplayPort on the PC and a DSC (Display Stream Compression) enabled monitor are required.
• Windows 10 or later is required for 2 extended screens support. macOS does not support MST, and only allows 2 DP outputs in mirrored mode.

Important Notes:

• DP output resolution is dependent on the PC's GPU capability.
• DisplayPort from a docking station or video converter does not support MST extended mode.
• For stable connection, please use high quality DP1.4 cables.
