Return & Refund Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from MyHappyGift. If you are not happy with your order for any reason, we're here to help.

14-Day Return Policy

You may return most items within 14 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, items must be:

  • In their original, unused condition
  • In the original packaging with all tags, accessories, and documentation included
  • Not damaged, assembled (where applicable), or showing signs of use

How to Start a Return

  1. Email us at hello@myhappygift.com.au with your order number and the reason for your return
  2. Our team will review your request and respond within 1–2 business days with return instructions
  3. Pack the item securely and ship it to the address provided by our team
  4. Once we receive and inspect the returned item, your refund will be processed

Return Shipping Costs

For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. For items that are faulty, damaged, or incorrectly sent, MyHappyGift will cover the return shipping cost.

Refunds

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you via email of the outcome. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Please note that your financial institution may take additional time to process the refund to your account.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged in transit, or not what you ordered, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at hello@myhappygift.com.au and include:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Photos or videos clearly showing the fault or damage

We will arrange a replacement, repair, or full refund at no cost to you, in accordance with your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned unless faulty:

  • Items that have been assembled or used
  • Items returned without original packaging or missing parts
  • Perishable or hygiene-sensitive items (e.g. mattress toppers that have been used without a protector)
  • Items marked as "Final Sale" or "Non-Returnable" on the product page

Australian Consumer Law

Our return policy is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
